Michal from Ciplex made these flowcharts to help articulate the various paths a user will travel through the signup process. We just reviewed these and isolated a few more pages that need to get mocked up, so i will be doing that today. Prepping the registration process has taken a week longer than anticipated, which has pushed coding back a bit, but we are making progress, and everyone seems to be getting more excited about the project as we get more into the details...

Crossing Boundaries is an exhibit of acrylic paintings on canvas, each canvas 18x24 inches. The scale of the paintings was chosen creatively and intentionally by curator Paul Pauper, who, with his own hand grounded each canvas with a gesso tinted a pale yellow.
Yuriko Miyamoto creates paintings, illustrations and graphic design, characterized by a child-like playfulness and strong use of characters. Yuriko is an employee of the Frye Art Museum.

For those interested in how a Drupal site is developed, I'm posting our current "to do" list for our web development.
Web development happens in stages, much like film production. 'Pre-production' of the new site is now pretty much done. We have a detailed technical spec, a plan of attack, and a bunch of stuff to do. We have started production, and will be heavy into it for the next two months. Then post-production is the launch and all the bug fixes.
We passed 9,800 Producers yesterday! Thanks everyone who has been joining!
Meanwhile, I've been working super long hours designing the new sign up and registration process. Been workin on it for 2 weeks! Finally finished at 3am last night and uploaded the PSD files to Ciplex. I was so tired, i was falling asleep as each file uploaded. But I wanted to get it done as custom coding was waiting for these new designs.
Maybe we could crack to concept of time travel
what does anybody have to say about time travel any ideas/theorys will be nice
like the grandfather theory - aka kill your grandfather while traveling in the past then how can you exist
traveling in the past and messing up the future well create a different universe that only you yourself notices
and so on
I wanted to share one of our producer's amazing idea: a $25 Infant Incubator design called Embrace. http://www.embraceglobal.org/
This Incubator is designed for extreme affordability to help serve the over 20 million babies born premature each year that can not afford $20,000 conventional incubators. Embrace does all the critical stuff for a fraction of the cost.
The basic design of the product is a "sleeping bag". Heat is provided by a pouch containing phase change material (PCM,) placed in a safe compartment within the sleeping bag. To heat the PCM, the user simply pours hot water into compartment, upon indication by a thermal strip. This device uses no electricity, has no moving parts, and works for over 4 hours without needing to be reheated.
The product could save millions of babies. The design was awarded the Echoing Green Fellowship and is currently one of 25 Finalists for the American Express Members Project.
So yesterday, I ran into our drupal project manager, Michal Minecki, at the LA Drupal Camp. So far I am really happy with the work Michal and our Ciplex team has been doing. After the Drupal sessions, Mike and I went to a coffee shop to review the designs and technical spec, and discovered a near miscommunication. I don't think this would have been caught quite so quickly- if at all - had we not met in person. bonus points for the real world.
Currently, I am enrolled in an advance Film/Video Production class at College of the Canyons. For my first movie I wrote a short script which can be summed up relatively simply; lonely guy can't take being lonely anymore. It's only six minutes max for this project so no real intensive story lines can get started. Anyways, per the teachers urging against casting friends in the film, I went to www.NowCasting.com and got some actors interested in auditioning for parts in my student film; most of them looking good for the character's in the story. If you are an actor or actress in or around Los Angeles, looking for a non-paid, simple, student film 'gig' to get your face 'out there' feel free to go to www.NowCasting.com and submit your actor profile.
